WARNING: Swine Flu Virus Spreading from Mexico
Michael Savage told you about the Swine Flu - The World Does Nothing

CVS makes new Tamiflu order on swine flu news
By MARLEY SEAMAN

Drugstore operator CVS Caremark says it is stocking up on Tamiflu as reports of a swine flu outbreak spread and is seeing increased demand in some parts of the country.

However, company says it has enough of the flu drug to meet demand.

CVS also carries the flu drug Relenza, but spokesman Mike DeAngelis said the company did not place any new orders because most of its customers had prescriptions for Tamiflu.

So far, 40 cases of the swine flu have been reported in the U.S., affecting people in New York, as well as Kansas, California, Texas and Ohio. The same strain has sickened more than 1,600 people in Mexico.

CVS is reporting greater demand for Tamiflu in some areas, including New York and parts of Texas. The company said it has enough Tamiflu to meet customer demand but has placed a reorder as a precaution. CVS did not say how much of the drug it plans to stock.

Sound the Alarm? A Swine Flu Bind
Gregory Bull/Associated Press

Swine Flu Virus H1N1

PRECAUTIONS Dozens of deaths have occurred from the swine influenza outbreak in Mexico. People wore surgical masks on Monday in Mexico City.

The Takeaway With Andrew C. RevkinThe sudden detection of the new swine influenza virus, A(H1N1), occurred just as scientists were focusing wary eyes on behavioral changes observed in another virus, the A(H5N1) bird flu strain, in Egypt. Virologists have tracked the avian virus since its discovery in Hong Kong in 1997.

The World Health Organization said over the weekend that the new swine flu virus had the potential to cause another pandemic, but that it had no way of knowing whether it actually would.

The W.H.O. and public-health agencies like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention find themselves in a delicate balance, obliged to provide information about potentially lethal diseases without causing panic.

Although health officials have held exercises to prepare for pandemics and outbreaks caused by bioterrorism, they have yet to master the necessary communications skills. They are in a “damned if they do, damned if they don’t” situation.

A decision about travel restrictions or advisories, for example, could affect trade and finances at a time of economic chaos. If the public health emergency declared by the W.H.O. and the Obama administration turns out to be a false alarm, officials will be ridiculed for unnecessarily worrying millions of people — perhaps even for creating fear to justify their budgets.

If a pandemic materializes, some of the same critics are very likely to blame officials for failing to prevent it.

History teaches that the influenza virus mutates to cause worldwide spread about twice a century, on average. But scientists have yet to figure out what causes the mutations, when they will occur and what makes certain viruses more lethal than others.

Epidemiologists know that the number of cases reported in the days just after detection of a new strain can be deceiving, just as early returns can be in political elections.

To evaluate outbreaks, they need, among other things, accurate information about the numbers of cases; where they are occurring; the age distribution of those infected; and what contact they might have had with one another. At this stage of the swine flu investigation, such data are sorely lacking.

Most mystifying are why reported deaths have occurred only in Mexico so far and why confirmed cases reported elsewhere are mild. The disparity cannot be explained by any apparent biological factors. Could it instead reflect reporting bias?

For example, Mexican authorities may be more likely to look for swine flu in hospitals than authorities in other countries — who may be focusing on less vulnerable populations, like travelers. By contrast, those other countries might not have had time to concentrate on deaths in hospitals.

Occasionally, alerts of a new virus, or a mutation of an old one, come from a laboratory. More often, fatalities are the first clue.

But high initial death rates often fall as officials find that the causative microbe also causes mild, even symptomless cases. Officials may learn that the outbreak has gone on silently for weeks, even months.

H1N1 appears to be passed easily from person to person, and reports from the United States suggest that some cases may be mild and therefore may go undetected, allowing the disease to spread further.

In contrast, avian flu has killed 257 of the 421 people who have contracted it. But it has shown little ability to pass from person to person, mainly infecting poultry, and some experts suggest that there may be something about the H5N1 virus that makes it inherently less transmissible among people.

In his latest NY Times Best Seller, The Political Zoo, Dr. Michael Savage does his best to follow the Greek tragic dramatists, specifically Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides. His message is to warn against arrogance and willfulness, which plays into the fate of people who wish to denigrate our borders, language and culture in America.

The Political Zoo was written to challenge our contemporary leaders. If the only way to reach them is to poke fun at them with satire, so be it. Sometimes, cartoons in America are created to incite action! Savage's rhetoric, outlined in the Political Zoo, considers the irrational lack of character among our contemporary leaders.

Here is where Savage emerges majestically as a pragmatist, `lead by a countervailing temperament that follows the philosophers of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle, which instructs the human mind to focus on reason as an alternative to violence.' In my humble opinion, this mode of logic thrusts Savage upon a "world-class" stage that goes far beyond borders, language and culture.

Dr. Michael Savage is one of the greatest analytical minds of our day. Insensitive, moody, melodramatic, but refreshingly colorful and 'caaaaring,' (pun intended), he is always insightful and passionate albeit playful about life in our cryptic world.

Judge Edward Cashman is Friend of Pedophiles
impeach cashman
Judge Cashman is making the rest of America's kids safer by inviting all present and future pedophiles to move to Vermont.  In typical pedophile-friendly fashion, Cashman recently decided to sentence a pedophile to as few as 60 days in jail.  This is only the latest in a series of questionable rulings and inappropriate courtroom behavior going back more than two decades.

"As far as we're concerned, Cashman's district can hereby be considered a predator's sanctuary," wrote the Caledonian Record newspaper of St. Johnsbury. "As long as judges like Ed Cashman are allowed to sit on Vermont benches, children cannot be considered safe."

From the Bill O'Reilly Website
The story began with a tragic case of sexual abuse and seemingly ended with a guilty plea in a Vermont courtroom. Thirty-four-year old Mark Hulett pled guilty to aggravated sexual assault on his close friend's daughter. The attacks occurred from the time she was six years old until she turned ten. In front of Judge Edward Cashman, prosecutor Nicole Andreson asked that Hulett be sentenced to 8-20 years in prison, but on January 4th, Judge Cashman surprised everyone there by sentencing him to only 60 days in jail and ordered him to complete sex offender treatment after his release. At the hearing, Cashman explained, "...[punishment] accomplishes nothing of value... and it costs us a lot of money." Hulett will be out in 2 months.

Ex-Military Members in the Congress Disgrace the Uniform
It is so convenient for certain spine-less members of Congress to use their prior military service as a crutch in their political sniveling.  We respect their military service, but their past service is not a free pass from scrutiny for their corrupt politics now.  Because a man served his country decades ago does not excuse him from criticism today.  A hero yesterday does not overshadow the slimy politician today.

Take our latest fine political specimens:  John Murtha (ex-marine) - calling for the immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq - but too much of a chickenshit to stand up for a vote in the Congress.  It's easy to hide behind your words in politics (especially when the media portrays Murtha as a victim) - something you can't do in the military.

How about John Kerry (ex-navy) - our proud Vietnam hero with dozens of military decorations.  What a weakling to not be able to take criticism.  Strange that he could endure enemy fire to earn those Silver Stars, but can't endure a war of words with the opposition party without a 30-minute crybaby whining session in our Congress.  Don't forget about the EX-general Wesley Clark whose career was highlighted by a complete blundering of Kosovo only to be eclipsed by him getting fired by Clinton.  One Arkansas trickster to another.  Slick Wesley seems to drape himself in the flag when the cameras are rolling only to throw political spears at our troops when it really matters.  These ex-military opportunists are a disgrace.

Families of Troops Counter Anti-American Sheehan

As Congress this week honored parents whose sons or daughters have been killed in Iraq, some families said Cindy Sheehan and her anti-war group do not represent them and are disrespecting the fallen soldiers.

"You can't call into question the integrity of the commander in chief without having it call into question the integrity of those under his command," said Diane Ibbotson, whose son Army Cpl. Forest Jostes, 21, died in April 2004 outside Baghdad.

"Let's talk about the things they've accomplished," she said, listing the end of Saddam Hussein's dictatorship, Iraq's first free elections, and the building of schools and hospitals.

Cindy Sheehan is Howard Dean with a Dress on

cindy sheehanCindy Sheehan
"America is not worth dying for!"

Cindy Sheehan is nothing more than a spiteful radical-liberal mouthpiece stuffed into Howard Deans body... with a skirt on!  Liberalisms heroes are fine specimens such as Michael Moore and Cindy Sheehan.  Let her twisted mind be judged by her vitriolic words:

“And the other thing I want him to tell me is ‘just what was the noble cause Casey died for?’ Was it freedom and democracy? Bullshit! He died for oil. He died to make your friends richer. He died to expand American imperialism in the Middle East. We’re not freer here, thanks to your PATRIOT Act. Iraq is not free. You get America out of Iraq and Israel out of Palestine and you’ll stop the terrorism,”

"We are not waging a war on terror in this country. We’re waging a war of terror. The biggest terrorist in the world is George W. Bush!"

"America is not worth dying for!"

"America is not worth dying for!" So said Cindy Sheehan in April of this year at a rally in support of Attorney Lynne Stewart, who was convicted of aiding and abetting terrorism. Some commentators have speculated that Sheehan is a political innocent being controlled by radical leftists such as Michael Moore. I say her words prove that she has become a radical leftist in her own right.  Cindy Sheehan is taking exploiting the dead to an all new level.

Sheehan's son Casey initially enlisted in the Army in May 2000 and voluntarily re-enlisted in the service in August 2003, knowing he would likely be called into active duty in Iraq. Secondly, as a mechanic in the 1st battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, Casey did not have to go into the battle that claimed his life. When some of his fellow soldiers encountered resistance, he and others in his unit chose to go into combat to save his friends. Cindy Sheehan herself recounted it this way:

The sergeant said, “Sheehan, you don't have to go,” because my son was a mechanic. And Casey said, “Where my chief goes, I go.”

Where this young man went, tragically, was to an early grave. But his death was an act of patriotism and human compassion, one which should tinge her understandable maternal grief with deep pride.

Instead, Cindy Sheehan threw herself into shrill, anti-Bush and anti-American activism. Shortly after his death, she founded Gold Star Families for Peace, an “antiwar” group whose first stated purpose is “To bring an end to the occupation of Iraq.” (Emphasis added.) She presently has a blogspot on Michael Moore's website and spouts extremist rhetoric alongside many of the Hate America Left’s most potent bomb-throwers.  --excerpt from frontpagemag.com.

FDD Ad in Waco Tribune-Herald Extends Invitation to Meet with Iraqi Freedom Fighters, Torture Victims, Democracy Activists

Washington, D.C. (August 26, 2005) – In a full-page ad to run in Sunday's Waco Tribune-Herald, Foundation for the Defense of Democracies President Clifford May offers an open invitation to Cindy Sheehan to meet with Iraqi freedom fighters, victims of Saddam's torture chambers and Middle-Eastern democracy activists and to discuss what is at stake in Iraq.

The open letter reads in part:

“You say you want to know, ‘What is the noble cause that my son died for?' They would answer: Your son died fighting a war against an extremist movement intent on destroying free societies and replacing them with racist dictatorships.”…

“Cindy, you've been calling for the U.S. to get out of Iraq at a time when our enemies in that country include the most aggressive and lethal branch of al-Qaeda, led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. Can you not see that if we were to retreat from Iraq now, it would be a historic defeat for the United States?”

The ad will run in the Sunday, August 28, edition of the Waco Tribune-Herald.

Cindy Sheehan: Anti-Semite
Don't call left-wing media star Cindy Sheehan an anti-Semite just because she's funded by a group that advocates the destruction of Israel. Call her an anti-Semite because she believes that a dark cabal of Jews is running the US government:

Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a U.S. soldier who was killed in Sadr City, Iraq, on April 4, 2004, expressed her distress and frustration... "Am I emotional? Yes, my first born was murdered. Am I angry? Yes, he was killed for lies and for a PNAC Neo-Con agenda to benefit Israel. My son joined the Army to protect America, not Israel. Am I stupid? No, I know full-well that my son, my family, this nation, and this world were betrayed by George [W.] Bush who was influenced by the neo-con PNAC agenda after 9/11."
Yes, it was Israelis who got her son killed. Obviously. Who else could it possibly be? -- excerpt israpundit

The Cindy Sheehan Bandwagon
excerpt from MichelleMalkin.com:

Mrs. Sheehan has made a splash with the far Left and in the MSM. Her tenacity is impressive. But the dishonesty and disingenuousness of her benefactors and cheerleaders is intolerable. David Brock's Media Matters and others, for example, have attacked Bill O'Reilly and me for "lying" and "smearing" Mrs. Sheehan, when any sane person can see that's not the case. I'm re-posting the link to the video of our discussion (here) and the full, un-Dowdified transcript below in the extended entry. [Update: Cindy Sheehan responds here and also posts on her good friend Michael Moore's site.]

Meanwhile, MSM reporters continue to ignore the glaring contradiction in Mrs. Sheehan's accounts of her meeting with President Bush. Reading comprehension-challenged leftists can't seem to grasp that the issue is not whether Mrs. Sheehan was anti-war before her son died in Iraq (she was), but why she has completely changed and embellished her account of Bush's behavior and her and her family's impressions of him. Patterico spells it out for the slow wits at the Los Angeles Times.

More Cindy Sheehan stupidity here.

Cindy Sheehan Anti-American Idol
excerpt from op-ed by Dustin Hawkin

Howard Dean called and he wants his speech writer back. If nothing else, the non-stop coverage of Cindy Sheehan gives us all one good long look as to why Americans are not voting for liberals, why liberals refuse to say they are liberals, and why liberals will remain insignificant in American politics for the near distant future: because they are crazy.

Cindy has taken to grieving unlike most mothers would: By making a massive spectacle of herself daily, by aligning herself with far-left organizations, and by constantly making ridiculous demands and bashing America. Most Americans sympathize with grieving families. Not even Sheehan’s family sympathizes with her.

Granted, calling for a pull out of Iraq, bashing the Jews, and calling Bush a terrorist is stuff we haven’t heard since at least the last hippie protester hit the streets. Sheehan is practically this week's side-show freak festival filling the void since Michael Jackson returned to Neverland Ranch. In fact, throw in a scream and she is Howard Dean. “Not only are we going to Crawford, but we are going to Washington, and Camp David, and Martha’s Vineyard, until Bush speaks with me, yeeeaaaarrrgggghhh.”

More quotes from the Galactically Insane Cindy Sheehan.

Not Your Father's America - Cindy Sheehan's Lies
excerpt from carapace weblog

Cindy Sheehan "changed her story on Bush"? Tracking a lie through the conservative media Cindy Sheehan, mother of a soldier killed in Iraq, has drawn significant media attention for staging an anti-war protest outside President Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, where she is demanding to meet with the president. On August 8, Internet gossip Matt Drudge posted an item on his website, the Drudge Report, in which he falsely claimed that Sheehan "dramatically changed her account" of a meeting she had with Bush in June 2004; Drudge attempted to back up his false assertion by reproducing Sheehan quotes from a 2004 newspaper article without providing their context. After the story appeared on the Drudge Report, it gained momentum among conservative weblogs and eventually reached Fox News, where it was presented as hard news and in commentaries. Media Matters for America will examine how one false story on an Internet gossip site ended up the focus of prime-time cable news coverage.

The Best of Cindy Sheehan

Anti-war protestor Cindy Sheehan, whose soldier son Casey was killed in Iraq, is calling for Bush’s “impeachment,” and for Israel to get out of Palestine!

“You get America out of Iraq and Israel out of Palestine and you’ll stop the terrorism,” Sheehan declares.

Sheehan, who is asking for a second meeting with President Bush, says defiantly: “My son was killed in 2004. I am not paying my taxes for 2004. You killed my son, George Bush, and I don’t owe you a penny…you give my son back and I’ll pay my taxes. Come after me (for back taxes) and we’ll put this war on trial.”

“And now I’m going to use another ‘I’ word - impeachment - because we cannot have these people pardoned. They need to be tried on war crimes and go to jail.”

Michael Savage

Liberalism is a Mental Disorder: The Savage Solution
In his first two books, radio sensation Michael Savage offered a blistering attack on the erosion of America’s values. Now, in the third installment of his bold and biting trilogy, he offers provocative yet practical ways to reclaim our social, political, and cultural integrity. Through a compelling narrative of current trends and events, Savage chronicles the continued assault on the sacred pillars of American life (the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Ten Commandments, the Sanctity of Marriage) by the High Priests of Ultra-Liberalism and provides the remedy for freedom-loving Americans to effectively medicate the mental disease of modern liberalism and restore America’s former brilliance. In each chapter, the Savage Spotlight of Truth casts its brilliant light on the tactics used by liberals to spread their leftist agenda and follows it with a dose of specific actions, arguments, and activism that the reader can ingest to counter the radical left. After all, as Savage said in The Savage Nation, America’s best days are in front of her, if we have the guts to face the truth and apply ourselves to repairing the foundation upon which this blessed nation was formed.

Michael SavageMichael Savage: The Enemy Within
Popular radio host Michael Savage returns to print with another attack on the forces of liberalism that he believes are tearing America apart. Using the same brash, abrasive style in his writing that has become a trademark of his radio show, he writes that "the Left operates specifically to undermine God, country, family, and the military" and that liberalism is "either treason or insanity" or "a mental disorder." He also takes on illegal immigration, the state of health care in the U.S., the "Hollywood Idiots," and the decline of schools and morality in general, all of which he blames on Liberals. Savage also drops bombshells such as: "Federal courts and judges in America today are to be more feared than al-Qaida," and Ruth Bader Ginsberg's appointment to the Supreme Court is "akin to appointing the general counsel of the Ku Klux Klan to the bench."

How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must):
The World According to Ann Coulter

Coulter is a brilliant writer and a 'public intellectual' actually deserving of that description. She's intelligent, witty, logical, candid, articulate, and bitingly sarcastic -- and, bless her heart, she doesn't suffer fools gladly. You don't have to agree with her in order to find her vastly entertaining and thought-provoking, but it does help. (It also helps to be able to read. I'm amazed at how many irresponsible criticisms have been leveled at this woman based on nothing more than egregious misrepresentations of what she's actually written.)

I'm not even really sure what the controversy is about. Take one of her most (in)famous statements, specifically regarding those unarguably foul creatures who celebrated the 9/11 attacks by dancing in the streets: Coulter wrote (on 9/12) that '[w]e should invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity.'

Well, the Bush Administration has already successfully checked off items 1 and 2 on that list -- much to the chagrin of people who think war is just never ever ever the answer. (I should add that although that isn't my own belief, I was not initially in favor of the invasion of Iraq for other reasons. But although I believe in giving peace a chance, I think the U.S. has given it one. At any rate I'm no friend of the Kurd-gassing rape-room-operating tyrant who just got his butt so thoroughly and deservedly kicked.) Oddly, though, it's the part after Coulter's impeccably placed final serial comma that seems to have raised the most hackles.

Deliver Us From Evil - Sean Hannity
"Evil exists," Hannity asserts. "It is real, and it means to harm us." And in these pages he revisits the harsh lessons America has learned in confronting evil in the past and the present, to illuminate the course we must take in the future. Tracing a direct line from Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin through Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden, he reminds us of the courage and moral clarity of our great leaders. And he reveals how the disgraceful history of appeasement has reached forward from the days of Neville Chamberlain and Jimmy Carter to corrupt the unrepentant leftists of the modern Democratic Party -- from Howard Dean and John Kerry to Bill and Hillary Clinton.

As Americans face the ongoing war against terrorists and their state sponsors around the world, Sean Hannity reminds us that we must also cope with the continuing scourge of accommodation and cowardice at home. With his trademark blend of passion and hard-hitting commentary, he urges Americans to recognize the dangers of putting our faith in toothless "multilateralism" when the times call for decisive action. For only through strong defense of our freedoms, at home and around the world, can we preserve America's security and liberty in the dangerous twenty-first century.

Michael Savage's Success
The phenomenal success of Michael Savage, the nation’s third most listened to radio host, heard on 450 stations nationwide, can’t be easily explained.
But the effect is clear and powerful.

Savage has not only caught fire nationwide from the epicenter of his San Francisco Bay Area home station KNEW, he has sent shock waves through the liberal media establishment.

Once ignored, they have to pay attention to him now.

With two New York Times best selling books, his latest “The Enemy Within,” Savage has demonstrated his influence is much broader than his syndicated radio with Talk Radio Network.

Though many liberals can't figure out why, Savage says he thinks he has the answer to his remarkable success: It's because he's "different" than other conservatives.

"If you turn on other conservative talk, all you hear is 'Bush great, Kerry bad. Republicans wonderful, Democrats evil,'" he told NewsMax. "How much of that can you listen to?“

Though definitely a conservative (he first coined the term “compassionate conservatism”), Savage says he believes the reason why he is so popular – and has had the fastest growing show in talk radio history – is because he doesn't "carry the water for Republicans" or anyone else.

"I'm a registered Independent," says Savage, who also has a PhD from the University of California at Berkeley.

For Savage, independent means there are no sacred cows in the cultural, societal and political wars. Independent means taking on third rail issues that even many conservatives avoid.

Savage summarizes the “big three” issues on his radar screen like a mantra: culture, language, borders. “I'm very straightforward, blunt, brazen, in-your-face. People need that. They can't take the nuanced, gray-zone anymore," Savage says.

And his show is about to get even more popular. Listeners Want Their Savage!

Knowledge is Power

John Kerry 1971John Kerry Unfit for Command
Regardless of one's political point of view, this book is a must read. Why? Because in this year's campaign for the Presidency, Senator Kerry has made his service in Vietnam the critical focal point of his resume.

As one who lived through that time, I remember well Kerry's testimony before the Senate and how it affected our thinking about the war. I didn't recall his name, but I did recall being appalled by the vivid statements he made. The fact that those statements came from a "decorated naval officer" gave the testimony weight it would not otherwise have had. Similarly, his membership in a group called "Vietnam Veterans Against the War" also caught the attention of the American public. What we did not know at the time was the abbreviated nature of Kerry's service in Vietnam. We also did not know that the so-called Vietnam Veterans Against the War were, for the most part, neither veterans nor individuals who actually saw service in Vietnam.

All of these issues are addressed with factual documentation and testimony in this book, "Unfit For Command." To learn many years later that we, the American public, were being lied to by both the media and these sometime "patriots" while our friends and family members were still on the field of battle angers and sickens me. We didn't do enough then to know what was going on. Today, we have no excuse not to learn all we can about those years. We have this obligation not only to correct the record but to prevent the ultimate insult to those who served their country so nobly all those years ago - the election of a man who stabbed them and us in the back with lies, distortions and slander.

I have read "Unfit For Command" and found it factual and compelling. I urge everyone to read the book and form their own opinion. Regardless of how one comes out on the political side of this year's presidential race, as Americans we cannot bury our heads in the sand simply because the facts are difficult to face.

American Soldier - Gen. Tommy Franks
General Franks led our forces in the attacks on the Taliban and Al Qaeda, and gives a very good account of how those missions were directed. Franks also takes us through the workings of the Washington institutions that the military has to deal with, as well as surprisingly personal insights into his own homefront. He really makes it a much more fascinating story than one might expect.

We not only learn some of how our military and government works, but how a significantly powerful man works, as he charts his life, and how decisions he made lead him to where he is today. Fairly unextraordinary circumstances that lead to a man capable of extraordinary things.

Another very welcome addition to the book is the lack of partisanship found in so many current non-fiction works. Franks does lay blame on some things, but manages to not point fingers at Republican or Democratic institutions he's served under. I found it very inspiring that he stayed very true to his ideals and managed to shed light on many things in a way that allows the reader to draw their own conclusions, without alot of the rhetoric we've come to expect of late.

Rewriting History - Dick Morris
Dick Morris is tough to figure out; I honestly don't know where he is coming from, or what motivates him. He is definitely not a conservative Republican. But I doubt he is welcome in any Democratic circles these days, either. What Morris is, as far as I can tell, is a very astute, insightful observer of human behavior. He also has a great sense of humor. Having his own foibles exposed in a very public manner, Morris has little to lose...he seems ready to expose others who have dark secrets. He is tenacious and a survivor, which makes him seem more human than he did before his fall from grace. Perhaps Morris is a gossip. But he is an oddly credible one, and he is definitely entertaining. Both Hillary and Bill could have used his sense of drama and storytelling in their own weighty BORING autobiographies. Even when I disagree with Morris, which is often, I find him compelling and interesting. This book does provide some uniquely personal--and, I believe--important insights into the character and behavior of Hillary Clinton. Though she is at least four years away from running for the Presidency, she is already hard at work laying the foundation for her candidacy. Thus, every action she takes right now is in preparation for that day...which makes Morris' book timely and important indeed.

Myths about Islam
Myth # 3
- They only want to Kill Americans because we are the White Devils.  This perverse ideology was proved incorrect at the Bali, Indonesia bombings where hundreds of non-Americans were killed -- they are killing innocents indiscriminately.  The latest wave of violence has been Muslim vs. Muslim in Iraq.  Savagery culminating in the bombing of Shiite Muslims while praying in their mosque on their day of Sabbath by their fellow Muslim Brothers.  Pure savagery.

Myth # 2 - September 11th was OUR Fault.  Then there is the topic of Muslim vs Muslim violence.  How can we blame ourselves for sectarian violence within the Muslim world?  Muslim suicide bombers kill dozens of fellow Muslims in a mosque at prayer time in Pakistan - yet the political theorists and pacifists lay blame for September 11th on the USA?  It is America's policies that have led to the Muslim extremism worldwide?  How do we proliferate violence among Shiites and Sunnis?  Iraqi fundamentalists murdered their own countrymen at their police academy graduation - can we blame ourselves for this one two?  The fact is, suicide and homicide bombing is an integral philosophy and tactic of Muslim fundamentalists, regardless of the target of their hatred.  Instead of studying the enemy and their dogma, we consistently blame ourselves.  It is easier to play the blame game.

Myth # 1 - Islam is a Peaceful Religion.  Almost every single violent and destructive act in recent history has been linked to Muslim zealots.  America-hating propagandists will have you believe that America has precipitated such hatred by our prosperity and self-righteousness; by begging their forgiveness, we can attain peace with the Islamists.  But, suicide bombings in Russia and Pakistan have shattered such theories.  Muslim separatists murdered innocents at a Russian concert - this having nothing to do with the USA.

What is their propaganda?  Challenge your intellect, get in the mind of the Islamic Fundamentalist.
